Tango I

Tango I is an acrylic and mixed media painting, inspired by my love of Argentine Tango. The grace and fluidity of the dance are reflected in the organic shapes, movement, and patterns. The piece on heavy white archival paper measures 9 x 11 inches, matted and framed is approximately 14 x 15 inches. $160 framed, $120 unframed (USD).

Tango II

Tango II continues the theme of Tango I. Painted in acrylic and mixed media on heavy white archival paper, it reflects the colorful yet subdued qualities of Argentine Tango. The movement of footwork, the path of the dancers are all here. 10 x 11.5 inches unframed, 14 x 15 inches framed. $160 (USD) framed, $120 (USD) unframed. SOLD.

The Making of Tango

The painting of Tango I and Tango II went through several iterations. At one point, the two paintings were joined as one as seen below. This allowed a unification of theme, and became the fulcrum around which each painting’s personality emerged.
