FIVE SEASONS

A series of five small acrylic paintings on paper. Each is just 4.5x4.5 inches (11.5x11.5 cm). As a group, they represent the idea that there is more to the life cycle than the four arbitrary divisions of spring, summer, autumn and winter we are accustomed to. In the fifth season, life flourishes and changes below the soil, hidden from the limitations of earthly existence.
